Cleveland (C)lowns.

In case you haven't heard, the NFL season is well underway and my beloved Cleveland Browns are 0-3. They've managed to score one touchdown this year and it's safe to say the season is over. I've followed this team for life and always will. Now that is loyalty. The phrase "maybe next year" can only really apply to Cleveland fans.

There are times that I wish the life-sized Bernie Kosar cardboard cutout that my Grandma W. hung on the back of her bedroom door back in the 80's could come to life and save our team.

GO BROWNS!

On our second day, we completed a ten-mile hike and indulged in Mother Nature's scenery for about eight hours. It is worth noting that we came across only a handful of people during our entire hike which made it even more surreal. Take a peek...

I would not be a good communicator if I did not mark this day! Read more about it here.

Mother Nature's Playground (take one).

Day one of our Labor Day excursion was nothing short of brilliant. We managed to fit every last piece of gear into our little car, made great travel time, set up camp, found firewood, and began to explore our surroundings. Mother Nature's playground did NOT disappoint.

Bald Eagle - front and center.

Getting down here was much easier.

The water was so beautiful and clear.

Hello, Gorgeous!

We spent a long holiday weekend near Munising, Michigan and ventured through Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. The pictures say it all - we had a blast and highly recommend this trip to anyone up for a mini-adventure. With over 700 pictures, I thought it best to break this up into smaller tidbits.

Our home for the weekend.

Our backyard for the weekend.

Dinner - yum, yum!

The first of many amazing sunsets.
