Andy and I like to think of ourselves as wine aficionados, though the outside world may not agree that our pallet is entirely up to snuff. This is why we've made it our mission to continue drinking this fine beverage as we search for the best values out there. When we find great ones, we'll let you know. 2007 San Felipe Malbec from Argentina has our recommendation. Enjoy!

A Natural Union
This past weekend, we felt very blessed to watch Faith Hopler marry the love of her life, Mike Durand. They had a beautifully natural and organic feel to their wedding, complete with a blue sky and white clouds dotting the sky above. Throughout the day, I kept my eye on the couple and I saw pure bliss among them. Here's to you Faith and Mike...may your lives be filled with peace, happiness and most of all, plenty of love! Both Andy and I felt fortunate to be a part of your special day.
For those wondering why I used last names, I hope that over time this will help to trace our families as we move through this lovely thing called life.

Pork Tenderloin Rub
Together, Andy and I really enjoy trying out new recipes and when we find one that knocks it out of the park, we'll publish it here.
2 tsp. lime juice
1.5 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. light brown sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
To use:
2 tsp. lime juice
1.5 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. light brown sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
To use:
- Rub lime juice over your cut of meat (this is good on pork or chicken; we've tried both!).
- Combine remaining seven ingredients in small bowl (Andy says it's okay to use twice as much cayenne if you enjoy a little more kick).
- Pat mixture onto your meat.
- Grill.
- Enjoy!
